The Art Of Stockpiling In A Financial Crisis

January 29th, 2010

One way that I have learned to save during this wonderful economic crisis that we are in these days is by what I call â??stockpilingâ?. When I go through the grocery store ads I match the ads up with my coupons. I then look for trends in what is on sale and what is not. Groceries tend to take turns if you may at going on sale. Some months all the cereals are on sale and other months all the paper products might be on sale. So, I study the ads and the coupons to see just what it is that seems to be on sale at that time. I then buy a larger amount of the items on sale and â??stockpileâ? those items. By doing this I am saving money because I only buy those items when they are on sale. Then, when they are not on sale, I still have a large amount at home and I am not spending more on those same items. The ultimate plan is to buy enough that you have enough to last you until the next time it goes on sale. Hence, you stockpile!
