March 23rd, 2010
It is normal for new drivers to experience frequent driving panic attacks. These driving panic attacks are caused by irrational fears. Studies show that irrational fears start slowly and gradually they evolve and become worse. People who experience driving panic attacks often exhibit symptoms such as breathing problems, increases heart rate, nausea and constant headaches.
Here are some good tips that will help you overcome your fear. Pick a driving instructor teacher who is calm before you take a driving lesson. It is essential to make sure that your driving instructor is competent and certified. This is important because many people have been duped by driving institutions that offer driving licenses that are not valid.  Do not take lessons from a person who is nervous as this may instill fear in you that will affect you in the long run. Focus on the road while driving at all times and avoid distractions such as cellphones.
